How Can We Help?

Our work with clients is highly personalized and collaborative, and many clients are not sure just what to ask for in our first interview. No worries, that feeling of overwhelm is completely normal! You might want to look at some of the services we offer to get a starting spot!

We'll meet with you, listen closely to what you are hoping to accomplish, ask a ton of questions, then provide you with our recommendations for how to proceed. From our base of knowledge, we'll do all further research required to curate and organize the history. Then, we can develop that content and frame your story in ways to ensure you are equipped to communicate the narrative in a professional and meaningful way.

What Our Clients Are Saying...

"After great success working with Diane to find detailed information for the restoration of the 19th century Judge Palmer house in Calistoga, I asked her for help with my family history. I started with little real knowledge about my ancestry, but Diane and Napa Valley Roots quickly traced several generations for me in a family tree chart, and as a bonus, turned that chart into a lively narrative that I am proud to pass on to my children and grandchildren."

“I had more questions than answers about how and when my family came from France to California. Enter Shannon and Diane and their new venture, Napa Valley Roots. In a few short hours together, they had filled in many pertinent details, fleshed out the history of the era, and introduced me to a wealth of references and tools. Their passion for historical research is infectious and the results so gratifying. Napa Valley has a new treasure!”
